As my morning was a bit sluggish and off today - it all changed at the beginning of second hour. My Principal came to my room (for those of you who forgot, my current room is a section of the library) and asked if I have a few minutes. She told the students to read the board and I would be back happier then before. I was like, "What?" (how can I be happier?!) Well, I was. She told me that I am NOT laid off (as previously told to her and me) and not only that - but I will remain at my current school!!!!
So, I will be teaching 8th grade English to a couple sections of boys and then a couple sections of girls (we have gender specific classes)... I will be in classroom 1204, which is the classroom I have my current 4th hour in - and I couldn't be happier! ;)
I now have to apply for Maternity leave, and then I will be all set for next year!
